Conservation Halton publishes an annual Accountability Report on its programs, services and funding.  The report is a snapshot of who we are, what we do and how we fund what we deliver.

The goal of the Public Accountability Report is to inform watershed partners and stakeholders about the agency’s progress and to show how we strive for excellence and lead by example with a commitment to:  the well being of the environment, improving programs and providing value to our stakeholders and being accountable to watershed residents.

Transparent fiscal accountability is highly valued at Conservation Halton.  Our budget is reviewed and approved by an elected and appointed Board of Directors and all requests for municipal support through property taxes are presented to watershed municipalities for council approvals.

Conservation Halton’s Public Accountability Report is our way of showing watershed stakeholders how our funds are approved and how they are spent.  We believe Conservation Halton has a good story to tell – one that will get even better as we continue to expand our efforts to be a champion of protecting and enhancing the natural environment from lake to escarpment for the benefits and enjoyment of present and future generations.
