Conservation Halton has Memorandums of Understanding with a number of municipal partners. The Memorandum of Understanding between Conservation Halton and its municipal partners outlines the responsibilities in plan review and plan input for various aspects of the Provincial Policy Statement and other legislation affecting land use planning.
The purpose of the Conservation Authorities’ portion of the MOU is to clearly outline what the CA is responsible for providing in terms of the initial review and subsequent technical review of planning applications as they relate to natural heritage and natural hazard planning.
